1. Purpose
1.1 Sabordo Bookkeeping, provider of the sabordobookkeeping.com website (“Site”) and services provided through the Site, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the Personal Information that you may provide us when using this Site.
1.2 This Site is published and maintained by Sabordo Bookkeeping (“SB”). SB may be referred to in this Privacy Policy as “we,” “us,” “our,” or other similar pronouns. Any capitalized terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning defined herein.
1.3 This Privacy Policy applies only to information that you may provide to us through our Site and that we gather from you while using our site, or that we may obtain through third-parties. The information includes: (a) what types of information we collect about you when you use the Site; (b) how the information will be used or disclosed; (c) your rights with respect to our collection and use of your information; (d) to whom we disclose the information; (e) how we store and control the information; and (f) your rights to control, correct, and erase the information.
1.4 This Privacy Policy APPLIES ONLY to Sabordo Bookkeeping branded Sites where such Sites are delivered to desktop, laptop, handheld, wearable, portable, or personal computing devices. We are not responsible for the information practices of any other third-party sites, advertisements, offers, or content linked to from our Site that you may share your information with whether through our Site or Services, or on your own through any source.
1.5 This Privacy Policy shall be interpreted under the GDPR, the laws of Utah and the United States. You may obtain a copy of this Privacy Policy through our Site or by sending us a request in writing.
1.6 We gather and use the personal information collected by the Site as described below. We may share information you provide and information we collect about you with third-parties in order to provide you with information about products, services, and information that may interest you, and to definitively ensure we provide information and services to you through your account or registration with us. However, we will notify, and if appropriate, obtain your consent for such sharing. If we intend to process your information for any reason other than the functionality necessary to provide the information and services you approved, we will obtain your permission in advance of such processing.
1.7 We will strive to process your Personal Information lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner. Your Personal Information will be collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes that align with the services you have requested and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with the requested services. Our processing of your data shall be limited to that which is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary to provide you the requested services. Once we have processed or stored your data we will use reasonable efforts to assure your Personal Information is accurate, up to date, and eliminate inaccuracies we find or you notify us exist. We do not, however, assert, claim, or ensure the Personal Information you provide or is provided by others to us is accurate. We will comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and use industry standard practices to retain your information for no longer than is necessary to provide you with requested services. Some Personal Information may be stored for longer periods insofar as the Personal Information will be required for financial or legal reasons or remains part of our normal archiving process wherein such data shall remain offline and not available to the public or processed solely for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes in accordance with GDPR Article 89(1). We implement industry standard practices to provide security and protect the confidentiality of your Personal Information against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. We periodically update our standard practices which can be obtained upon request.

2.1 This Website Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for (the Site). This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. We do collect Personally Identifiable Information, as defined below, that you provide, we collect from your use of the Site, and from third parties about you.
2.2 By using our website, you agree to this Privacy Policy EXCEPT WHERE SPECIFIC OPT-IN IS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHERE SUCH OPT-IN IS REQUIRED WE WILL SPECIFICALLY REQUEST AFFIRMATIVE ACTION BY YOU DOCUMENTING YOUR CHOICE AS TO THE COLLECTION, USE, AND PROCESSING OF YOUR INFORMATION THROUGH AN AFFIRMATIVE OPT-IN.

3.1 User-Provided Information.

Such information is collected, for example, when users register for accounts or engage in activities through our Site or participate in or communicate with others via our Blog or submit a comment or question to us in any form or through any medium, or in any other way submit Personal Information to us via our email addresses or the Site.
3.1.2 When you visit our Site, you may provide Personal Information about yourself, such as name, email, and other details about you through our contact form. We may combine this information with other information we collect from public sources to communicate with you, only. Once you have provided such information through our Site we may gather additional information in order to improve your user experience and our ability to communicate with you. PROVIDING INFORMATION THROUGH OUR CONTACT FORM REQUIRES YOUR AFFIRMATIVE ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY THROUGH AN OPT-IN APPROVAL CONTAINED ON THE CONTACT FORM.
3.1.3 We will use your Personal Information supplied through our contact form to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us and reserve the right to follow up on our response once, even if we do not receive feedback or response from you. We will not contact you with unsolicited communications, email or otherwise, without your explicit opt-in consent to such communication. Once we have your information, we will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, unless it is necessary to fulfill your request, in which case we will notify you in advance and get your approval.
3.1.4 Only when you specifically opt-in through our contact form will we contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
3.1.5 When you visit our Site, you may provide Personal Information about yourself, such as name, address, phone number, email, and other details about you through means other than our contact form. We may combine this information with other information we collect to provide services to you, or to improve your user experience and our ability to make suggestions that may meet your goals. REGISTRATION WITH ONE OR MORE OF THE SITES, OR PROVIDING PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR ONE OR MORE SERVICES OFFERED BY THE SITE, CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, EXCEPT AS SPECIFIED IN THIS DOCUMENT WHERE AFFIRMATIVE ACCEPTANCE IS REQUIRED. IN SUCH CASE WE WILL PROVIDE A CLEAR REQUEST FOR YOUR APPROVAL THROUGH A CLEAR OPT-IN REQUEST.
3.1.6 You have the right to request from us access to and rectification or erasure of Personal Information or restriction of processing concerning your information or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. However, by providing data through the course of using our service you understand and acknowledge that providing Personal Information may be a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract, as well as acknowledge that you are obliged to provide the Personal Information to access and use the site, services, or software. You further acknowledge that you may be denied such access and use as the result of a failure to provide such data.
3.1.7 We will process your Personal Information when you provide consent in compliance with GDPR, all State and Federal laws, when the processing is necessary to provide you Services from the Site, to protect your vital interests or that of someone else, when necessary to accomplish a task in the public interest, and when necessary for us to perform standard business and technical processes where such processes do not override your rights or that of a minor. If we must process or store your personal information for any other reason we will notify you and request your consent if such consent is required.
3.1.8 During our normal course of business, we do not collect, process, or store Personal Information revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, health data, or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation. Should such Personal Information come into our possession or be processed by us from other sources, including you providing such data, we will erase this type of data upon your request or maintain such data upon your request with explicit consent by you. Only with your consent or for compelling reasons enumerated in GDPR Chapter 2 Article 2(2) or as compelled by law will we collect, store, or process such data.
3.2 In addition to the information that you provide to us for the purpose of delivering services to you and/or your business, we may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:
3.2.1 information about your visits to and use of our website;
3.2.2 connected IP address, mobile device connection (i.e. mobile phone towers or relays), operating system, device type;
3.2.3 information relating to any purchases from us that you make; and
3.2.4 information that we may collect about you from other public sources or other available resources.
3.3 We use this data to implement client security, accessibility, and privacy specifications through our Site, or enable our Site to provide data and services through third-party applications. In such cases we will take appropriate measures to protect your rights, freedoms and legitimate interests, including making the general information publicly available but not identifying you specifically. If we communicate with you using information we obtained from a third-party we will notify you at the time of communication that we have obtained such information.

4.7 You will have the right to obtain from us information as to whether your Personal Information is being processed, and if so, (i) be informed of the purpose of the processing; (ii) be informed of the categories of Personal Information processed; (iii) be informed of the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the Personal Information have been or will be disclosed, if any; (iv) be aware, if possible, of the time period for which the Personal Information will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that time period; (v) be afforded the existence of the right to request from us, or a third-party, rectification or erasure of Personal Information or restriction of processing of your personal inform, or object to such processing; (vi) have the right to submit a complaint to us or the appropriate third-party; (vii) have the right to request the source of any information not collected directly from you; (viii) be notified if your Personal Information is utilized by algorithms to enhance your user experience or supplement Personal Information; and (ix) the right to obtain a copy of the Personal Information undergoing such processing and you agree to pay a reasonable fee if requested for a copy of your Personal Information being so processed providing obtaining such a copy does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
4.8 You may restrict us from processing your Personal Information if you inform us that you contest the accuracy of the information, or the processing is unlawful and you do not want the data erased and you request restriction of the processing, or we no long require the Personal Information to provide the services for which the Personal Information was obtained. If processing is restricted at your request, your Personal Information will only be processed with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person for reasons of compelling public interest as deemed by the State of Montana or the U.S. Under all circumstances we will inform you prior to resuming the processing of your Personal Information.
4.9 You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Information if such processing is performed in the public interest, or in the exercise of official authority vested us, or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms which require protection of Personal Information, in particular where the Personal Information is of, about, or in contains information about a child. If we process your Personal Information for direct marketing we will notify you prior or concurrent to such processing and you may object to processing of your Personal Information for such purpose. Where your Personal Information are processed for scientific or historical research purposes, or statistical purposes pursuant to GDPR Article 89(1), you may, on grounds relating to your particular situation, object to processing of your Personal Information, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out for reasons of public interest.
4.10 We enable you to have control over the accuracy of your personal information. You can delete or change your personal information at any time through the Site or by contacting us via a method described under "Contact Us" below. Further, you have the right to obtain from us without undue delay rectification of inaccurate Personal Information concerning you. Taking into account the purposes of our processing of your information and our regular business and technical processes, you have the right to supply incomplete Personal Information, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.
4.11 You have the right to obtain from us the erasure of Personal Information concerning you without undue delay and we will have the obligation to erase Personal Information without undue delay when: (i) your Personal Information is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; (ii) you withdraw your consent on which the processing is based providing there is no other legal ground for the processing or retaining of your Personal Information; (iii) you object to the processing and there are no overriding legal or legitimate grounds for the processing; (iv) we have inadvertently or unlawfully captured or processed your Personal Information; (v) your Personal Information must be erased in order to comply with a legal order issued by a court of proper jurisdiction or to comply with a statute to which we are subject; (vi) your Personal Information has been collected in relation to the offer of information society services referred to in GDPR Article 8(1). Where we have made your Personal Information public and are obligated to erase the Personal Information, we will, after taking account of available technology and the cost of implementation, take reasonable steps, including technical measures at our disposal, inform others which are processing or storing your Personal Information that you have requested the erasure by such others of any links to, or copy or replication of, your Personal Information. You acknowledge that such public information may never be completely erased despite our efforts. We may not be able to erase your information, specifically when continued processing or storage is necessary for: (i) exercising the right of freedom of expression and information; (ii) compliance with a legal obligation which requires processing or storage where such legal obligation stems from a legal order issued by a court of proper jurisdiction or compliance with a statute to which we are subject; (iii) reasons of public interest in the area of public health as specified in the GDPR; (iv) archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes in accordance with those specified in the GDPR; (v) or to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. Should you elect to have your Personal Information erased, you must re-register with us as a new user.
4.12 You have the right to receive your Personal Information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format of our choice and have the right to provide such information to any party of your choosing without restriction or hindrance from us. If practicable, and at our sole discretion, we may provide such requested Personal Information to a third-party you designate and we are able to authenticate. Receiving your data has no impact or relationship to decisions you may make regarding erasure of your Personal Information nor adversely affect the rights of others.
4.13 We will act within one month of receiving your request unless the complexity and number of requests is excessive, in which case the time period can be extended up to two additional months. In such case where extended time period is needed we will inform you and provide the reasons for the extension within one month of receiving your request. We will not charge a fee for such requests unless the request is unfounded or excessive as to time or cost, in which case a reasonable fee for administrative and technical costs may be charged or the request refused.
4.14 If you elect to have your processing limited or deny processing of your data, you will not be treated differently than any other existing user as to the services provided or processes described within this Privacy Policy.
5. Disclosing personal information
5.1 We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, partners, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including without limitation the operation of our business.
5.2 We may disclose your personal information:
5.2.1 to the extent that we are required to do so by law;
5.2.2 in connection with any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings;
5.2.3 in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk);

5.4 When you opt-in to our Blog, you agree through that opt-in to receive emails notifying you of blog posts. If you contribute to our Blog, reachable from our Site, the information that you submit will be made available to others with access to the Blog (for example, other clients of SLC Bookkeeping or those participating in or contributing to the Blog). 5.5 The Site may provide links to applications, services, websites, and the like (i.e. social media, payment processing, and software support service providers) provided by other companies and/or individuals. Further, certain functions within our Site may connect you to third-party applications, websites, or services through our Site. We will not provide your data to third-party applications, websites, and service providers without your consent. However, if the software is integral to providing our service to you and we provide data about you to the service, then we will require such third parties to be GDPR compliant. We will inform you and any third-parties when your Personal Information has been rectified or erased or is subject to a restriction of processing.
5.6 Where we do not provide information or data to a third-party site, plugin, service provider, or support software but merely provide a link, such third-party site, plugin service provider, or support software may collect Personal Information about you. You acknowledge this Privacy Policy and the privacy policy on our website does not apply or extend to such linked third-parties.

6. Security of personal information
6.1 We will take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
6.2 You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
6.3 You are responsible for keeping the password you use for accessing our website confidential; we will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to our website).
7. Amendments
7.1 We may update our privacy policy from time to time by publishing a new version on our website.
7.2 We cannot ensure that you will receive a notice of any changes made to our privacy policy. Except with respect to current customers of our business, we have no policy or procedure for providing notice of changes. Therefore, you should check our privacy policy occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes to our privacy policy.

8.1 We do use cookies when you use this Site and you will have the opportunity to explicitly opt-in to our use of these cookies.
